Young Digital Planet is an educational e-Content publisher and e-Learning technology provider. Since 1990 the company has provided new technologies to develop educational learning solutions for a wide range of international customers.

We are currently working to expand our business to new markets. To achieve this goal we are looking for expert consultant who will provide us with the best quality of market insight, preparing 1) a report on local educational and publishing sectors and 2) potential Young Digital Planet's partners from these markets.

1) Desired Educational Sector Description will consists of:

·         General description of the system of education and the publishing sector

·         Description of Ministry of Education and key players in the publishing sector

·         Basic Data on School Sector

·         Basic Data on leading publishers (no of employees, market share, geographical markets they operate in)

2) Desired Young Digital Planet's partners will fit the following profiles:

·         The top companies from the traditional publishing sector, taking into account education (textbook) publishing as top priority

·         The top e-Learning Companies, as e-Learning Market definition differs from market to market, we are looking for companies that are dealing mainly with Digital Material or Digital Material Delivery Platforms (except for Hardware providers). To be more specific we are looking for companies who are dealing with delivering Digital Material to schools and publishers, and to home market, on and offline or developing educational Digital Material on demand.

·         The top learning software distributors, having a large portfolio of Learning software and extensive sales channels.

The expected research output will include detailed data concerning shortlisted companies (not confidential in terms of legal aspect). Precise reporting scope and sheet will be provided for the selected candidates.

The role is currently available for the following countries:

·         Nigeria

Desired Skills and Experience

·         Expert in-depht knowledge and understanding of the local educational sector and educational publishing market (print and digital)

·         In-depth knowledge of the textbook digitalization and systems of delivering e-books

·         Perfect local language skills, preferably native

·         Good command of English both written and spoken

·         Desire to start work immediately
