Business Unit Manager / Business Development Leader
A Business Unit Manager vacancy has come available with a global leader in Automation and ControlsSolutions. The incumbent will be in charge of Managing Business Development and Sales activities in Nigeria.
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Driving the performance and development of all sales activities in the country
  • Establishing and owning plans and strategies to expand customer base in the territories
  • Recruiting, training, appraising, motivating and mentoring team members
  • Maintaining customer contacts and relationships at senior level, in support of account managers
  • Leadership and mentoring throughout the organization
  • Business development-related value proposition and marketing plan
  • Accurate forecasting of revenue and growth opportunities
  • Management of resources to maximize sales growth
  • Be directly accountable for the annual AOP of the region

Desired Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:
  • A minimum of Ten (10) years' industry sales experience
  • Strong Automation and Controls Industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of commercial law and contract terms
  • Proven commitment to providing exceptional customer service 
  • Experience negotiating complex sales
  • A track record of managing successful teams
