Role Summary/Purpose 
GE Africa’s Technical Early Career Development Program (ECDP) is a newly created 24 month leadership program designed to give recent university/college graduates challenging work assignments, training and development, and exposure to leadership. The program combines hands on experience with formal classroom training to equip participants with the tools and knowledge to become leaders in GE.

Essential Responsibilities
Technical ECDP is open to recent university/college graduates in Engineering. As a Technical ECDP you will be going through an intensive training and on-the-job learning throughout the program.

The GE Distributed Power Technical ECDP Application Engineer Role include the following key responsibilities/essential functions:

*Provide technical guidance in preparation for the sale, installation and operation of GE Distributed Power products
*Respond to new units and services sales team inquiries for information about product capabilities.
*Evaluate non-standard product requests (fuels, applications, capabilities, etc.).
*Develop material to support marketing and sales efforts.
*Develop and communicate Interface and Product changes to internal & external OEMs
*Contribute Installation/Services issues/opportunities to PCB/TPR teams.
*Ensure engine (for the assigned product line) cycle deck is consistent with product capabilities.
*Provide content for emissions guidelines and guarantees.
*Conduct assessments of competing offerings.

Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Power and Electrical Engineering, with good grades
Maximum 0-1 year of experience post graduation
Authorized to work in your country full-time and without restriction
Must have NYSC discharge or exemption certificate in hand prior to applying for this position
Proficiency in English
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
Demonstrated team player
Confident self-starter who has demonstrated drive
