Job description
Africa Magic seeks to appoint suitably qualified & dedicated individuals to assume responsibility asProgramme Acceptance Administrators. The positions will be based at our facilities in Lagos, Nigeria.

- M-Net and MultiChoice Marketing departments, respectively

- Content (movies & short format ) Suppliers

OUTPUTS
Services and information which the individual must provide to external individuals or groups, or one another to accomplish the organization’s mission and strategy.
- View programming content and compile well written synopsis for publicity
- Preparation of Monthly Highlights Document and distribute to distribution list
- Assign Age restriction to agreed standards and broadcasting censor board codes
- Utilize research feedback and statistics to support scheduling formats
- Assist to identify undesirably content and support editing requirements
- Identify Audio Cuts with regard to undesirable language of content for transfers
- Filing Management of Synopsis, publicity material and follow up on outstanding publicity material with content suppliers
- Assist Schedule Planner with best optimal scheduling slots for content viewed
- Write up Viewing reports and capture onto Mindpack
- Compile EPG Report and distribute to agreed deadlines
- Compile TV Magazine Report and distribute to agreed deadlines
- Compile Marketing, Oracle, Website Reports and distribute to agreed deadlines

KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS
- A relevant degree in Communication or Business Management required
- At least 3 years experience preferably in Television Environment & Regulatory environment (an advantage)
- Proven Track record
- Computer Literacy, MS Excel Advanced, PowerPoint, Outlook Email, MS Word
- Good Writing & Communications skills
- Sound understanding of programming content and scheduling systems (an advantage)
- Team Player
- Problem Solving Skills
- Strategic Vision of Content of Competitors and Industry
