Job description
Africa Magic seeks to appoint a
suitably qualified individual in the position of Human
Resources Lead. This person will report to the Regional Director for West
Africa and will be based at our offices in Lagos, Nigeria.

OUTPUTS:

Act as a business partner by embedding company HR strategy and
by providing professional generalist HR guidance and support business with the
objective to add value to the business.
·
Contribute to the business strategy by helping identify, prioritize,
and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes
·
Diagnose business challenges and together with HR COE craft
solutions
·
Translate business and HR strategy into a clear annual HR
operational plan
·
HR Reporting
·
Designed and implemented Human Resources Policies and Procedures
(Employee Relations, Recruitment & Selection)
·
Responsible for execution of all people processes in the
employment and business cycle, in line with policy and legislation-
recruitment, induction, L&D, retention, career management and rewards
·
Support line management in forecasting and planning the talent
pipeline requirements in line with the function/business strategy
·
Facilitate line of sight initiatives to build a high-performing
organization aligned with the strategic leadership agenda
·
Facilitate and promote employee engagement and feedback
·
Provide expert advice and coaching to employees where
appropriate
·
Manage and follow through on Employee Relations cases
·
Transactional HR excellence- effective back office liaison
·
Implement Performance Management system and performance managed
staff

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of HR
·
A University degree in Social or Behavioral science
·
Sound Human Resources Management knowledge

Understanding of organizational development processes

Understanding of talent management strategies
·
Exposure to Human Resources information systems
·
Knowledge of in-country Labour legislation
·
Exposure to training and/or the co-ordination thereof would be
an advantage
