Job description
Africa Magic seeks to appoint a
suitably qualified individual in the position of Publicity
& Talent Lead for Africa Magic. The successful candidate will be
responsible for developing and implementing the publicity and Talent strategy
for the brand and channels. The candidate also needs to have exceptional
interpersonal skills, networking skills, writing, creativity and negotiation
skills. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Director for West
Africa and will be based at our offices in Lagos, Nigeria.

OUTPUTS
·
Develop and implement a publicity plan (external and internal)
for the Africa Magic branded channels
·
Continuous assessment, review and enhancement of the publicity
interventions across the channels
·
Support the marketing team to Implement the festivals/special
events for the Africa Magic brand and channels
·
Develop and maintain effective relationships with media
stakeholders and key group company stakeholders
·
Develop and maintain effective relationships with Nollywood
Industry key players and stakeholders
·
Develop strategic partnerships internally and externally
including with Multichoice for special events/festivals
·
Develop and implement a Talent engagement strategy for Africa
Magic and ensure healthy relationship between Africa Magic and Talent (In-house
and external)
Desired Skills and
Experience
FUNCTIONAL
COMPETENCIES

Post graduate degree in communication or Journalism and media
studies
·
3-5 years' experience in Media, Broadcasting Communications or
Television
·
Knowledge and understanding of all media
·
Knowledge of and a passion for the Entertainment Industry
