Role Summary/Purpose 
GE Africa’s Technical Early Career Development Program (ECDP) is a newly created 24 month leadership program designed to give recent university/college graduates challenging work assignments, training and development, and exposure to leadership. The program combines hands on experience with formal classroom training to equip participants with the tools and knowledge to have a successful career in GE.

Essential Responsibilities
Technical ECDP is open to recent university/college graduates in Engineering. As a Technical ECDP you will be going through an intensive training and on-the-job learning throughout the program.

The GE PGS Technical ECDP role will be an essential part of Fulfillment services team, which will help the operations excellence on the power generation services.

Key Trainings/essential functions/ Responsibilities include:

Technical:
- Complete Classroom Technical Training/ Workshop training on tooling.
- Complete On The Job Training onshore in Workshop and offshore.
- Complete Hands on & on-line training: EHS, Quality, Compliance,
- Engage in Continual Technical Training provided by business,
- Complete Leadership Training – GE Values, Compliance, Presentation / Influencing skills, Project Management/CAP.
- Avail self in Common Induction and get-togethers for all Technical ECDPs
- Support planned outages execution and planning
- Support the team in addressing customer operational needs.
- Be involved with Field Support, customer training, maintenance planning, spare parts tooling, advice on operation, seminars, and symposiums
- Support reviewing drawings, procedures, and EHS/ Quality requirements

Administration:
- Responsibly completes all administration tasks on time.
- Support CSE in Providing front-line technical response to inquiries received by the customer response center, identifying potential problems and coordinating troubleshooting activities with numerous internal organizations.
-Supports timely dispositions of open action items – TILS, NPS, CIR, Audits, DORs, RCA/NCA etc. .
-Takes initiatives in sharing best practices & Lessons learnt.

Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum of a university B.SC degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
0 -1 year maximum work experience (NYSC inclusive)
Authorized to work in your country full-time and without restriction
Proficiency in English
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
Demonstrated team player
Confident self-starter who has demonstrated drive
A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required.
Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria
