· Determine and analyse market requirements for specific propositions.

· Develop industry/segment specific proposition strategy.

· Own and manage key propositions within verticals and horizontals and ensure maximum return is achieved.

· Present new concepts, ideas and initiatives to the commercial team in order to reach targets.

· Develop the proposition component within a Go to market plan (GTM) for each product offering.

· Assist and support the portfolio managers in the development and management of products as per agreed strategy.

· Recommend changes to existing products to meet market requirements.

· Be an expert for your propositions by actively managing the proposition lifecycle with a view to maximising returns.

· Predict present market trends and gather reliable and accurate market intelligence.

· Recommend pricing propositions for verticals/horizontals by advising on the necessity for tenders and RFP.

· Advise on the necessity of price review within portfolios, by liaising with sales and portfolio managers to determine appropriate selling prices per product.

· Take ownership of key KPIs with a view to acquiring and retaining appropriate customer base

· Report on proposition performance.

· Work with stakeholders within the organisation to ensure the success of overall strategic business plan

· Develop the portfolio specific strategy.

· Manage the development of portfolio specific proposition.

· Develop vertical specific proposition within portfolios.

· Report on proposition performance against targets with action plan.

· Analyse market requirements for portfolio specific propositions.

· Participate in the development of portfolio specific products as per agreed strategy.

Desired Skills and Experience

· This role requires an extensive knowledge of the market, competitive landscape, deep customer insight and a thorough understanding of the industry verticals and horizontals to assure an excellent design, delivery and management of propositions for all product offerings.

· To develop specific vertical and horizontal propositions which will assist the portfolio managers in achieving their target objectives, also ensuring that overall companywide targets are met.

· The job holder must have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Commercial or any Business related discipline. A Second Class Upper will be an added advantage. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Telecommunications or ICT environment  from which 3 years’ experience in Product Propositions and must have at least 2-3 years’ experience in a managerial capacity.

· Formulate the Commercial Operations Strategy for VBN.Oversee that the clients’ contracts are being correctly managed and monitored.

· Work closely with the sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations.

· Participate in pre-sales solution formulation through system deployment; including bid preparation and customer interface resulting in solutions architecture proposals.

· Oversee the preparation of the technical solutions architectural and implementation design documents.

· Develop and articulate solutions based on a customer's strategic business or technical requirements ascertained from working with multiple business units across the customer's organization.

Desired Skills and Experience

· The job holder will be responsible for the strategic leadership, direction and development of new commercial opportunities involving product management and development, marketing, pricing, special bids and pre-sales activities in Nigeria. 

· The job holder must have a Bachelor Degree or Commercial discipline from a reputable university with a minimum of of 10 years Commercial Management experience; inclusive of management in the ICT Industry (essential), with pricing principals, in a Telco, ISP, or related ICT services industry.

· Bid/Tender exposure preferred.

· 5 years Leadership/Management/Supervisory experience essential.

· Interface customers on regular basis

· Monitor Enterprise network performance 24x7 of each customer.  

· Circulate the performance reports daily to each customer and all internal stake-holders.

· The performance report should include at least service up time, usage, throughput, outages, Quality KPIs, etc.

· Ensure that the customer service KPIs are delivered as agreed

· Generate downtime reports to be used for customer refund/compensation based on agreed contract

· Any service degradation should be immediately escalated to right people for resolution. Also share it with the customer with severity.

· Lead and get fully involved in the resolution process in case of service degradation.

· Generate spares requirements, initiate actions for procurement of spares and do the  management of spares

· Study the RCA and implement the recommendations given in the RCA to avoid repeat failure in future.

· Coordinating technical support from OEMs (i.e. Huawei, Ericsson, Aviat, Cedarview, etc.)

· Creating and developing the database of the performance logs. Analyzing the logs and generating SLA reports.

· Request & analyze regular reports from Enterprise Help Desk Team Lead on quality/productivity & query/request types

Desired Skills and Experience

· Bachelor of Engineering Degree

· Sound knowledge of enterprise network architecture and technologies, service assurance,   customer complaint handling and resolving.

· Database maintenance, Analytical and Presentation skills

· Minimum 8 years in the similar field.  Customer service experience will be an added advantage
