The MIS Officer provides technical and administrative support to the Strategy and Planning Manager in carrying out Oando Gas & Power’s (OG&P) strategy, planning and performance monitoring functions

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic

·        Provision of assistance in periodic updates of the 5-year strategic plan documents, including update of financial forecasts

·        Data gathering/studies and analysis on identified subject areas as required by Management and the Board from time to time

·        Carrying out bench-marking of OG&P activities against competition and best practices

·        Coordinating OG&P retreat and brainstorming sessions on specific issues

·        Facilitation of  special projects aimed at achieving certain objectives

·        Coordination of preparation and collation of quarterly Board papers and reports and follow up on action points emanating from Board meetings

Job Summary

The Head of Practice would be responsible to lead Ericsson's Fixed Broadband and Convergence Practice in Sub Saharan Africa. The purpose of the Practice is to develop and promote customer centric offerings, including re-use, based on the complete Ericsson portfolio and third party products with a focus of transforming communication networks to 4G IP technology. The Practice is responsible for creating and taking forward offerings to existing or new markets and customers with potential for substantial growth through innovative business and go-to-market models. The Practice is responsible for sales of offerings within the defined market category with offerings such as Mobile Transport, Fiber Infrastructure, Microwave and Optical Transport, Network Integrated Wi-Fi, Packet Core and IP Edge solutions. The Practice partners with Key Accounts accross the region in driving customer engagements, providing thought leadership and support in identifying and capturing opportunities.
