The Opportunity

Plan acquired the Centre for Development and Population Activities (CEDPA) in November 2012, and with it an operating entity in Nigeria. We are currently in the transition process and start up of Plan Nigeria. A full time Finance Manager is required to implement the Plan Nigeria financial action plan and solidify the financial processes and systems in the Country Office and Program areas to enable Plan Nigeria to deliver on its program strategy and accountabilities to children, communities and donors.

The Person
You will be a high performing finance professional, skilled in strategic thinking and finding efficiencies in the use of limited resources. Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, Control standards and the reporting requirements of major international grant donors is a must, and knowledge of the sector and the financial management issues specific to it an advantage

Type of Role: 3 year fixed term contract
Location: Country Office in Nigeria with extensive local and occasional international travel (40%)
Reports to: Country Director
Salary: $45-55, 000. This is an accompanied position and a full expat package will be available.
