Our client is an international, independent exploration and production company. Having made on of the Top 7 largest global discoveries in 2013 they are experiencing continuing success and growth within existing assets and new developments and as such we are currently looking for a local Process Safety EHS Supervisor, to be based in West Africa, to assist the EHS Manager in monitoring the operation of Production and Drilling Management Systems across company operations.
The main responsibilities are to;

·        Assist the EHS Manager in monitoring the operation of Production and Drilling Management Systems
·        Implement HSE standards
·        Ensure compliance with Risk Management and HSE Standards
·        Ensure all HSE related systems, standards, procedures and best practices are effectively implemented and applied across the company operations
·        Plan, develop and coordinate regular inspection programs, HAZID and HAZOP reviews
·        Assist in the development of Company HSE procedures

Desired Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate would have;
·        Minimum 10 years’ hands-on practical work experience, in HSE in a product engineering design, manufacturing and/or construction environment
·        Degree in Engineering or Science related discipline
·        Relevant knowledge of HAZID/HAZOP and other equivalents
·        Proven experience implementing HSE standards offshore, on the rig and in the office in drilling, production and FPSO environments
·        Working knowledge of international HSE regulations, standards and best practices (e.g. ISO, OGP, API etc)
